Domain Name & Hosting

Buying a domain name and setting up hosting for your WordPress website is similar to choosing a business address and then signing a lease. The address is your domain name and the rent is for a server that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to “serve” the files that make up your website.

Both of these are very important and a little complex for most people to setup because it involves, name servers, DNS settings and other services that are normally only setup once.

If you are going to use Google G Suite to handle your email and calendar you’ll need to set that up and then make the necessary changes to your “Mail Server” DNS settings.

You’ll learn what this all means and see where it is managed in these training courses and website creation services.
